Hi Friends. Today I’m going to tell you about my experience writing my blog. Well, this experience has been new for me because at school I didn’t write about particular topics or about topics of my own choosing and I can say that most of the time I liked very much to share what I think with others. Sincerely, writing the blog has been decreasing in difficulty, the first post was relatively difficult because I didn’t remember much how to write in English but with the passage of time it has become easier despite the increase in the number of words I should write. I must say that I’m constantly reading the comments of my classmates to know if they like my posts or to know if I should improve something, therefore, I really like the idea that we can support our progress in English as a whole. Hello friends! Today I’m going to tell you about one of my favorite books, “Delirium” by Lauren Oliver. It’s the first book of the trilogy of the same title and the other two books are called Pandemonium and Requiem. Delirium is a young novel about a young woman, Magdalena "Lena" Haloway, who falls in love in a dystopian society where love is seen as a disease. In short words, "Lena" is the protagonist of the Delirium Saga. When his mother died because of “deliria nervosa de amor”, she moved to live with his uncles. Now she is looking forward to his 18th birthday. Through a surgical intervention in the brain the area that controls your emotions will be eliminated, and finally she can has a peaceful, safe and painless life but the only big problem is that she falls in love with Alex. Hello Friends, today I’m going to tell you about my favorite subject although it’s a little difficult to decide for one in particular because there are specific things that I like about each one but if I have to choose one, I choose Basic Psychological Processes because I feel it’s a very complete subject for many reasons. This subject examines theoretical background and results of research in motivation, emotion and cognition, understood as interrelated psychological processes that contribute to explain the behavior of the human being in a given situation. The reasons why I like basic psychological processes is because the topics that are treated in classes are very interesting and it doesn’t deal with ambiguous things, instead of this, it deals with things that can be applied to daily life for example the relation between parents and children or the goals that we put in daily life. Hi Friends! Today I’m going to tell you about a person who has done a very important job in psychology, his name is Ignacio Martín-Baró. Ignacio Martín-Baró was a psychologist and a Spanish Jesuit priest who devoted his life to researching the difficult social and political reality of a small Latin American country, El Salvador, where he taught at the Central American University "José Simeón Cañas" (UCA), of which he was responsible for the Department of Psychology and Education and Vice-rector, founded a prestigious institute of public opinion, the IUDOP. Besides, He fought for Human Rights, equality and social justice in El Salvador. He criticized the negative impact of US policy for his country. He was very influential in a wide range of academics and activists in the United States. Hi Friends! Today I’m going to tell you about something I like in my free time. Well, I like to do many things when I have free time. First of all, I like to sharing with my friends, I love my friends and we like to do many things specially in summer holidays. I remember that last summer we were almost a week together and we went to the river, we walked for many hours talking about silly things, we watched movies and sometimes we got drunk, among others. I miss them a lot  L . Hi Friends, in this post I'll tell you about muy favorite photo. I love this picture because is one of the most beautiful places that I know. This picture is from a part of Valparaiso, Concepcion hill.  It brings me many beautiful memories because my brother lives there and every time I went to visit him I fell in love with the landscape. I love the hills, the colors of the houses and walls, the graffitis, the sea view, the port, the “troles”, and the people. There, the people look happier that in Santiago, they are kinder and more supportive. Also I like that It have a hard and difficult history, and I’m proud of the way that people can overcome adversities such as fires. This photo makes me imagine a colorful and happy world where people can breathe easy and live in peace I think that everybody should go to Valparaiso because it is a city that will impress you with its beautiful landscapes and street art.

Hi Friends! Today I’m going to tell you about the things I missed last year. I get up two days in the week at five o’clock because I live in a city that is two hours from Santiago, is so exhausting to travel four hours a day.   I would like my house to be much closer to the university to have more time for myself, to rest and sometimes to study . I miss taking 15 minutes to get home, like when I went to school, Life was much prettier when I had time to do idle things .   I miss coming out of school early and coming to my house to watch movies and eat with my friends. Now I almost always leave the university late and most of the time I have to study for some subject.   Finally I hope you have more free time for yourself.

Hello Friends! I`m going to tell you about a technology object very important for me. A digital camera. The camera is a technological device whose main purpose or function is to take images of situations, people, landscapes or events to keep visual memories of them. I remember that my camera was given to me by my sister because I wanted to take photos of every place I went. Since that day when I go to some place I carry my camera to then remember those places by means of those photos. I use my camera every time I go to meet some new place and sometimes not only places but also people even things. I love my camera because is like my friend on every situation such as walks, concerts, meetings, parties, among others. My life without my camera would be very sad because I could not have a tangible material that reminds me of what I lived. Finally, I hope you like taking photos. 

Hello Friends! When I was a child I was a very curious girl and it may sound a little funny but I wanted to be a hot dog seller. I remember that in my childhood I had many friends and I liked to hearing their problems or stories and I always tried to help them and began to hear “hey, you should be a psychologist when you grow up” but at that moment I never thought it could be one of my possibilities of life. When I was 17 years old I only liked Psychology and Law but I was not very clear what I wanted to be in my future but I thought I had more psychology skills and finally I decided for psychology at University of Chile. My experience at the University has been good but stressful. With respect to the kind of job that I would like to have, I am still not clear because there are many fields of work that I would like to know but if I had to choose I would like to work as a social psychologist.

Hi! My name is Sophia Catalina González Pavez. I was born on January 6 th in Melipilla city at the hospital called San José. I have two brothers and three sisters, three of them are older than me and two are younger and now I am living with my mother in the same city. I studied in San Sebastián School in Melipilla and I graduated in 2016. I like doing different things such as going out with my friends and family, watching movies, going to the stadium and the hill, going to parties, watching "memes", among others. Practically I love to leaving my home and going out to any place with any person. Now, I am studying Psychology at the University of Chile .
