STUDY PROGRAMME

Hello Classmates. Today I’m going to tell you about the changes that I would like to make to my study programme. First of all, I think that the psychology career curriculum is very complete and think that all the subjects that we have contribute to the training as psychologist but I must admit that before starting the university I never checked the study programme. However, I have heard that the hours of practice outside of the university are very short, more specifically we only have 2 field works during the career that lasts five years as minimum and I consider that if we work with people we must  prepare earlier to know more about the psychologist practice in real situations. It is necessary to recognize that now efforts to change the study programme are being made and this is considering the opinions of students, academics and other people. Personal opinions

TATTOOS I think that currently using tattoos is still a controversial issue and there are still people who have a bad opinion about these and tattoos associated with bad people, with vices or unreliable, however, I believe that a tattoo doesn’t define the person, each person can make the decisions that they want with their body  and shouldn't be judged  because it is a form of expression and must be accepted socially. RECYCLING I think that the issue of recycling shouldn’t seem foreign to ourselves, we are watching and being accomplices every day of the damage we are doing to the planet without realizing that we are all living beings that are being harmed. I think the most important is that one day it can be reversed through of education to we become aware of the issue and that the new generations act committed to the environment. What area do you want to specialize in?

Hi friends, in this post I'm going to tell you about the major that I would like to take. Sincerely speaking about this topic is a bit difficult for me because I can only imagine finishing the career and I haven't even considered specializing in something but if I had to imagine it, I think that my options to specialize would be the area of educational or social psychology which are the two that I like most in the present but lately has attracted much more attention educational psychology, because I think that working with children and young people is essential if we want to make a transformation in the world because it may sound like a cliché but children are the future of our country and I think that educational psychology tries to help understand and improve the problems of our educational system and how it affects our society.   If I specialize in educational psychology I would like to do it at the University of Chile because I think it is a very complete instit...

Post graduate studies

Hello friends, in this post I’m going to tell you about the postgraduate courses that I would like to take in the future, well, I think that talking about this is one of the most difficult things because I can’t even imagine finishing the career, in this moment I only think about passing the subjects hehe, but there are many aspects that I like about psychology and the good thing is that this university has interesting offers about postgraduate courses. MY PETS

Hello Friends, today I'm going to tell you about the pets I have had throughout my life. In my 19 years I have had 4 pets: 2 dogs and 2 chickens, yes, chickens. My first dog was given to me when I was 1 year old and my older sister called her "Kitty" maybe because she liked Hello Kitty a lot. Kitty accompanied me until I was 14 years old and one day mi  parents took her to the country because she was old and my parents decided that it would be better if she spent her last days relaxed. The story I will tell now is very cruel and it still makes me feel sad. I don't remember how old I was but I wanted to have chickens because I found them very adorable. For my birthday my mom gave me 3 chickens but then my aunt gave me 4 more because she didn't know that I already had chickens. The terrible thing is coming now ... FAVORITE FOOD

Hi Friends! Today I'm going to tell you about my favorite food. You don't know how difficult is to choose this because there are many delicious and yummy foods :( but if I had to choose, in winter, my favorite Chilean food is the "cazuela" because I love the mixture of flavors of the chicken, potato, rice and the broth specially in winter to warm the body.  In summer, I like to eat "pastel de choclo" because is very common or when I'm very hot I like to eat salads of different vegetables and I love to put a lot of lemon juice in these. If I had to choose foreign foods that I eat all the time I have to mention the lasaña and chicken-avocado sushi and If you want to invite me to eat one of these two you would make me very happy haha :* I would love to try new Chilean and foreign foods, I really like the way food can represent the culture of a country, If I have the opportunity to travel to other countries I would like first to know ...

MY FUTURE JOB

Hi Friends! Today I'm going to tell you about the job that I want to have in my future.  To begin, I must tell you that when I was a little girl, around age 5 my dream was to be a hot dog seller when I grew up; now this idea sounds me very crazy.  Then I wanted to be a hairdresser to help people to feel good about themselves, in that moment I realized that what I wanted was to help others and I opted to study Psychology, I loved the idea of help people with their problems and that they could feel happier in their daily lives.  Now, I imagine have a flexible time job than the offices and spend more time in different things like my family, friends, I also want to travel, time to my hobbies, among others. I don’t want to have a nine to five job or less to be stuck behind a desk; I imagine a more practical job, and of course I’d like to be my own boss.
